TY MAULDIN - Owner and COach

Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the dugout alongside my dad, an accomplished head coach, spending countless hours immersed in the game and developing a lasting passion and deep understanding of baseball. That love for the game has shaped every phase of my journey—from competing at the Division I level in the SEC to now dedicating my career to developing and supporting the growth of young athletes. From an early age, the game taught me the importance of discipline, teamwork, and integrity—values that remain at the core of how I coach and lead today.

My playing career allowed me to experience the game at a high level and learn from exceptional coaches and teammates along the way. At Hewitt-Trussville High School in Birmingham, Alabama, I learned what it meant to compete with consistency and commitment. From there, I continued my career at Snead State Community College, where I spent two years developing as both a player and leader while helping guide our team to a State Championship. I later transferred to Auburn University, where I had the opportunity to be part of one of the premier Division I baseball programs in the Southeastern Conference. Those years not only refined my skills but also gave me a deep appreciation for the preparation, mental toughness, and work ethic it takes to succeed at an elite level.

My passion for working with young athletes began early. I started coaching while in high school and continued throughout college, always knowing that helping players reach their potential was where I found the greatest purpose and fulfillment in the game. Now, with over eight years of coaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless players grow in skill, confidence, and character. My greatest motivation comes from seeing athletes apply what they’ve learned to achieve their goals both on and off the field. Having experienced firsthand the dedication it takes to balance academics, athletics, and personal growth, I strive to help my players develop the mindset, discipline, and habits that lead to long-term success.

After earning my degree in Exercise, Performance, and Health Optimization from Auburn University, I combined my knowledge of athletic development with my on-field experience to create a training environment built on fundamentals, skill development, and growth. I am proud to bring this vision to life with our new facility, providing a professional environment where athletes of all ages can develop their skills, reach their full potential, and cultivate the values of discipline, teamwork, and excellence that are essential both on and off the field.
